INK / BY CODE+INK

A self-improving layer for your CMS.

INK is a Payload v3 plugin that audits your client websites continuously, rewrites in your brand voice, surfaces live analytics inside the admin, and ships a weekly digest of what to action next — scored against the goals you actually care about.

01 / THE PROBLEM

You shipped the site. Then it went quiet.

A client website is launched at peak. From day one it drifts. Meta titles go missing. Editorial pages stop being updated. High-traffic pages tip into staleness unnoticed. Editors are busy — SEO audits aren’t their job. And the tools that exist hand the same generic checklist to every site on the internet.

What's broken today

Generic SEO tools

  • "Add a meta description" — same advice for every page
  • No awareness of audience or business goals
  • Reports live outside the CMS, editors never see them
  • Recommendations don't translate into actions

What this means

  • Editors disengage from optimisation
  • High-value pages drift unnoticed
  • Conversion opportunities silently leak
  • The site degrades quietly between releases

02 / WHAT INK DOES

Continuous audits. Brand-voice rewrites. Inside Payload.

INK lives inside the Payload admin your editors already use. Deterministic checks scan every page; an AI briefed on your audiences, top objectives and brand voice writes page-level rewrites you can apply with one click.

Six pillars · what's live + what's next

LIVE
SEO & meta health
Scans every page for missing meta titles + descriptions. Ranks the affected pages by GA4 traffic. AI writes brand-voice rewrites for the top five. One-click apply patches the page directly.
LIVE
Content freshness
Cross-references GA4 traffic with each page's last-edited date. Classifies as Refresh, Review, or Prune. Surfaces high-traffic pages over 12 months old before they decay.
LIVE
Analytics in-admin
Live active-user count, 30-minute sparkline, top live pages, plus 7-day sessions / users / pageviews with WoW deltas. No more tab-switching to read GA4.
LIVE
Weekly digest
Monday morning email: traffic delta, top movers, completed actions, prioritised next steps. Written in your brand voice. Cadence configurable, auto-send togglable per tenant.
NEXT
Internal linking
On draft save, INK suggests three to five internal links based on topic taxonomy and semantic similarity. Lands next release.
NEXT
Anomaly detection
Week-over-week pattern watching with plain-English attribution of what changed and why it matters. Already piped into the digest; dedicated tab next release.

03 / HOW IT WORKS

Install once. It runs forever.

INK ships as a Payload plugin plus a hosted intelligence service that the agency runs. Five minutes from install to first insight.

1
Install & configure
One line in your Payload config: inkPlugin({ apiKey, auditTargets, gaAccessEmail }). Plugin scaffolds four collections inside your existing database — no external storage of your data.
2
Walk the wizard
Nine-step setup captures audiences, top three objectives, conversion events, brand voice, guardrails, digest recipients, cadence, and your GA4 property. Connection test before you save.
3
Audits run on demand or scheduled
One click triggers an audit. Deterministic checks scan every page, findings get prioritised by GA4 traffic, AI writes brand-voice rewrites for the highest-leverage ones. Editors apply with a single button.
4
Weekly digest lands Monday
Cron-triggered or click-to-send. Summarises last week’s traffic delta, top movers, completed actions, prioritised next three things to do. Configurable cadence, configurable recipients, togglable per tenant.
